
They don’t even care anymore.
Normally, I have to creep slowly up to the glass to capture pictures of the wildlife. They scatter as soon as I walk outside.
Most still do, but this little squirrel, his buddy, and a couple of pigeons completely ignore me today.
It’s cold, with an icy stillness in the air. Maybe they think there’s about to be a storm and they’d better grab all they can while they can.
Maybe they’re so used to me, I’m no longer seen as a threat.
Maybe they’re just so overstuffed they couldn’t waddle off if they wanted to.
