I waited all day for the snow.
I’m teaching the weather unit right now. We spent the week tracking fronts and watching forecasts, as snow barreled across the northeast.
Even though I tried to temper expectations, with stories of the 13 inches that never happened several years ago, I know at least one was dusting off his sled in excitement.
It held off most of the day, as I pondered my lost credibility.
It seemed rather half-hearted when it did finally start.
It was steady, though, and eventually made a nice coating over the deck.
Pretty, but probably to light, to satisfy the sled brigade.
