Jacket cool and and just short of drizzling,

my neighborhood morning stroll is enveloped in the myterious hush of fog.

Even the wildlife seems scarcely to hear me,

practically posing,

before skittering into the mist.

Wind tossed leaves continue their late fall battle with the long suffering grounds crew,

and thicken the tiny stream,

while nature’s Christmas tree glistens in silver and red.
